Thanks to Mark Mandel for correcting my sloppy reading of TKD re pronunciation
of the Klingon /S/.  When you read the whole description, rather than just the
"halfway between English s and sh" part, as I obviously did, then you must
reach his conclusion:  /S/ is retroflex, parallel to /D/.

The "halfway between English s and sh" comment must have been intended to
convey the rough acoustic effect rather than the point of articulation.  There
are human languages that have such a point of articulation, midway between
English s and sh, and I jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Sorry for any confusion that I caused.
