My post must have disappeared on this issue--seems to happen too often on the
tlh.H.l.... :-(

All in all, it seems silly and uninspired. I hope the real ST
authorities can
[above is a quote, my >'s are on strike :-P]

Certainly the serious student of Vulcan would:
(a) Beg Pocket to publish Marc Okrand's Vulcan language.
(b) Use the list's connections (are they working?) to MO to get any informal
    information on his Vulcan.
(c) Transliterate the dialogue in ST1
(d) Transliterate the dialogue in ST2 and 3
(e) Collect all the isolated terms in TOS and TAS
(f) Consider sources from the novels as long as there are no conflicts with
    the above.
These include particularly Planet of Judgment, Prometheus Design, Triangle,
Corona, ADF's Log with Yesteryear, and any of Diane Duane or Jean Lorrah's
or even Diane Carey's novels... (and JM Dillard's too I guess...)

Any volunteers to start the Vulcan-language-list?

Dave.
