This is my translation of Steven by Alice Cooper, entitled
SIy'ven. I had some dificulty with this one, though I think
the biggest problem is the fact that this is a song, and a
vary important part of the song is how you sing it. For
instance, the "legh'a'" or "See?" towards the end is not
spoken like one would expect. Steven was probably created
to be Szisophranic or however you spell it. Another problem
is the lack of the adjetive "please", which would have been
placed before the "bIjach 'e' mev" (or as a suffex placed on
the mev, in which case I would like Okrand to make it ryme
with -taH). Another consideration is that most of this song
is spoken rather than sung. Interperate as you wish. By the
way: are there synonyms for "to cover" and "to call for"?
Those would have helped.
