We also have to remember that, insomuch as a fictional character can be
considered a real person :D, Worf is a Klingon who was raised by humans,
and his views may or may not be those of your average Klingon in the
street. (Unfortunately, it often happens that Worf's views and behavior
are whatever the writer of that particular episode needed to plug in in
the absence of other information. The ST universe is unique, however, in
that not only are many of the fans as knowledgeable or more so than the
writers of any particular episode, they actually delight in finding
inconsistencies, logically extrapolating entire cultures from the
smallest throwaway line, and such odd behavior. Most shows probably
don't have to worry about basketsful of mail pointing out grammatical
errors in a created language. :D)
