| I have an on-line dictionary and I'm starting to work on the parser (for
| the Mac environment). I would love to share my work with fellow
| Klingon Linguists, but I don't want a horde of lawyers jumping on me...

I'm also working on a parser, and obviously an integral part of a parser
is a dictionary. Under the fair use clause of copyright law, I can
use a small portion of the copyrighted material, as long as I attribute
it to the original author. So what I'm doing right now is using
a few "representative" words and things from the dictionary, plus most
of the suffixes and prefixes. If someone wants to use certain words
in TKD which aren't in the parser's dictionary, then those words can
be added by that person. He'd need TKD to do that!

I'm sure it's OK to implement the grammar itself since the algorithm
has not been patented. The only problem appears to be the dictionary.

I think we do have to get Dr. Schoen to get together with Dr. Okrand
and determine once and for all what the status of the words in the
dictionary is.
