Thanks, Nick, for your copious comments. It may be the weekend before I
can get back to this, but in the meantime, here is a glossary of words I
used to translate the technical terms of the (English) original, which may
make the intentions clearer (and hence also the errors).
The hyphens are the way I write Klingon when I'm composing it.
perfect wisdom, perfection of wisdom (prajnaparamita)
val-chu'-qu'-taH-ghach
emptiness chIm-taH-ghach
heap, pile (skandha) DI (which means, literally, rubble, but that was
the closest I could find)
The five skandhas into which all phenomena are classified:
form chen-taH-ghach
feeling Hot-taH-ghach
perceptions tu'-taH-ghach
impulses Duj
consciousness buS-taH-ghach
The 12 links of conditioned co-production:
ignorance(avidya) jIv-taH-ghach
karma-formations(samskaras) San
consciousness(vijnana) Qub-taH-ghach
name-and-form(nama-rupa) pong 'ej chen-taH-ghach (yes, I know
now that 'ej doesn't join nouns)
the six bases(sadayatana) jav noch
contact(sparsa) Hot-taH-ghach
feeling(vedana) SaH-taH-ghach
craving(trsna) neH-taH-ghach
attachment(upadana) Hum-taH-ghach
becoming(bhava) moj-taH-ghach
birth(jati) bogh-ta'-ghach
decay-and-death(jara-manana) ragh-taH-ghach 'ej Hegh-taH-ghach
Finding no word for link, I wrote instead "maHcha' mIrmey", "12 chains".
I used the word "ghItlhvam" in the footnotes to mean not "this manuscript",
but "the part of the text that this footnote is talking about". BTW, is it
the case that "manuscript" as a meaning of "ghItlh" is only attested in one
of the phrases in the handy phrases section of TKD?
Finally, the title:

"botlh ghItlh", is intended to mean not middle writing, but central
writing. I could have used "tIq ghItlh", "heart writing", but that depends
on Klingons using the word for heart as a metaphor for the central, most
important core of something, in the same way as English-speaking Terrans.
Come to think of it, central==important is also a metaphor which might not
be applicable in Klingon, and an even more literal rendering might be
better.
