My apologies for not speaking in Hol, but I don't have time to translate this
today. {{:(
Granted, I am no expert, but one of my greatest concerns when I first
started listing to _Conversational Klingon_ was that I was drastically
misprounouncing and mis-inflecting everything. Everything *flowed* more than I
thought it did. And yes, indeed, I was suprised to hear the way questions were
asked. I don't have a tape player handy to verify, but I am VERY certain that
every (or almost every) single question on that tape had a raised inflection,
as in English, right on the -'a' syllable, which in these cases were the last
sylables in the sentences.
In this case, I concurr. You do indeed put a similar kind of inflection
in. (Did Okrand talk about this on the tape? I don't recall...) Of course,
the pabpo' may very well say this is totally incorrect, but I doubt it. {{:)
