Using my limited vocabulary (ie, the sentences Marc O. has pre-made
in TKD), I've noticed it's very hard for me NOT to inflect when I ask
a question....
Now the question is... would that be proper? Or do Klingons speak in
a monotone with no inflections. Any suggestions/thoughts/concepts?

Monotone?! KLINGONS?!! choHaghmoH! Klingon must be, and is
heard to be, rich in intonation. And -- to merge our
make-believe with the reality behind it for a minute -- since the
actors (and Marc Okrand) whose voices we hear are native English
speakers, speaking English when they're not speaking Klingon, the
intonations we hear in our few samples of spoken Klingon are
those of English, or at least thoroughly based on it. (Although
Klingon, as pronounced by Okrand on "Conversational Klingon",
shows some nascent tonal features that I find... "fascinating!")
So, IMNSHO, you are fully justified in using English intonations
for spoken Klingon.
