The convention of putting your name at the end isn't universal even among
Terrans, and some Terran cultures view it as irrational -- the first thing
you want to know is "Who's talking?" Latin used a set phrase at the beginning
something like this: "From Quintus Flaccus to his son Horatius, greetings"
with an indication of the date.
