Aside from the misplacement of {neH} already pointed out, why {DavHam}?

It's a good translation. But I think you are still thinking in
English, or at least noun-centrically. Instead of directly translating
"I gain power", think of it as meaning "I become (more) powerful" and
try to express that idea in Klingon.
