i have noticed that numerous times,at the discussion which follows the
"word of the day" the following phrase comes up :
"..as far as i know,it (the word of the day) has never been used in a
sentence (by okrand).."
i would like to ask,what is the practical significance of the fact that a
word may have been never used in sentence ; does this make it less "canon" ?
