one of the things that initially drew me to Klingon was the pIqaD,simply =
because it looks pretty cool. i remember many-many years ago hitting =
pause on some star trek episode,and carefully looking at the various =
pIqaD characters thinking how nice it would be to learn how to write =
them. Back then i didn't even know Klingon as a language existed. i =
thought someone made the letters up,and that's it ; end of story.

the only disappointment was to find out that when these letters were to =
be written by hand,a lot of their cool looks,were lost. hand written =
pIqaD,-or at least written in normal writing speed- lacks a lot,compared =
to its printed counterpart.
