one of the things that initially drew me to Klingon was the pIqaD,simply
because it looks pretty cool. i remember many-many years ago hitting pause
on some star trek episode,and carefully looking at the various pIqaD
characters thinking how nice it would be to learn how to write them. Back
then i didn't even know Klingon as a language existed. i thought someone
made the letters up,and that's it ; end of story.
the only disappointment was to find out that when these letters were to be
written by hand,a lot of their cool looks,were lost. hand written pIqaD,-or
at least written in normal writing speed- lacks a lot,compared to its
printed counterpart.
