I should proofread my messages before sending. :-(
Thanks for your comment; what I intended to say was of course that it's
*NOT* the o sound of cop (which is usually {qap}). Yes, "cop" rhymes
with "shop".
Your examples are good. {Dop} rhymes with "dope".
