I'd rate this rumor as slightly less realistic than the tooth fairy &
Santa Claus. Can you even begin to imagine the reputation hit Red Hat
would take for trying to sell two releases in a two month period?
What would be far more realistic, and would agree with the note on the
box that 5.2 is "2.2 ready" is that most of the supporting packages that
are known to be required for 2.2.x are already in the distro, and a
minimal number of upgrade rpms will be required for the step to 2.2.x
