Would anyone with a little hardware and software knowledge be interested in
creating a hardware mod and software that would let you use a sound card and
modem as a voice mail system under Linux? I know of 'vgetty', but it
doesn't look like it will work with many "standard" voice modems. I am much
more confident of my hardware skills than programming, so I would be willing
to design an interface between a sound card and a modem. The only thing
that would be needed is software that would work with these two devices.
Any interest here? Any suggestions for more appropriate places to post this
type of request?
