No good reason. The "workstation" and "server" installation descriptions
in the book did it and I understand they're trying to accomodate some
issue related to the boot information needing to be within a complete
partition for some BIOS and Hard-drive combinations. This scratch machine
is an older motherboard and I just did it rather than dig in the book to
find the special case. Like I said in another post, I'm using an older
machine to fiddle with RH 5.2 before I start looking to upgrade existing
systems.
