Netscape instability -- what is this?

I'm one of those users who is having crashes a couple times a day with
Netscape, then the CPU starts running away...

I'm having another problem that seems to be related to Netscape, but
more my Xserver... A couple times a day, my XWindows crashes with a
message "caught signal 11" or something like that. It usually happens
when I'm doing something in Netscape with the browser or in Messenger
(since switched to fetchmail & Pine)...

I notice sometimes in my Xterm a little message related to Netscape that
says:

X Error of failed request: BadGC (invalid GC parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 62 (X_CopyArea)
Resource id in failed request: 0xc00d7e
Serial number of failed request: 32215
Current serial number in output stream: 32231
    Widget hierarchy of resource: unknown

Now is that just a meaningless-to-the-user message like we might get on
the ol' Blue-Screen-Of-Death in Win95 or does this actually mean
something useful where I might be able to figure out if this is my
crashing problem?

Anyone know?

Thanks...
