in your /etc/bashrc file, add the following:
export LD_LIBRARY=LD_LIBRARY:/opt/rvplayer5.0
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/opt/rvplayer5.0
change the path to where you have it installed.
