I had the good fortune of getting an old HP 700 workstation running
HPUX 9.05 from my employer. I want to get in running on my home
network but here is my problem.......

This machine is ethernet only and my home network is token ring.

Here is what I thought I might try.......I'd like to put an ethernet card
along side my token ring card in my linux box and have it serve as a
router for the HP connected to it's ethernet interface.

1) Would this work?
2) Does the ethernet card need a separate IP address from the TR card?
3) Since I already have an IDE, SCSI, TR , and modem....is there even
going to be any IRQ's left!

Thanks in advance for any information and ignore stupid disclaimer at
bottom.
