I don't see a problem. Fetchmail isn't concerned with file formats
or any of that, it pulls the mail and hands it off to your MTA/MDA
which on a stock Red Hat system is sendmail and procmail. Your mail
ends up in it's normal place (/var/spool/mail/$usrname).
