List,

Good morning all !! I have a quick question. when I run top, i see
a bunch of httpd processes running that are taking up a bunch of
memory. One of them is owned by root and the others are owned by
"nobody". I know that the mother httpd spawns off child httpd's to
handle various tasks, but I'm seeing about ten or so child processes.
I'm on a LAN here at work and have netscape mail running (where I'm
sending this from). Is this normal??

Thanks,

/jwp
