I just got RH 5.1 up and running, but I'm having problems telnetting to =
my
Linux box.
I only get the welcome message when telnetting to the box from Win95. I =
do not
get the login prompt...
>Red Hat Linux release 5.1 (Manhattan)
>Kernel 2.0.34 on an i486
is all I get. I had slackware linux at one time and had no problem =
telnetting
with Win95.
I have problems with ANY telnet client from Win95. From the Linux box, I =
can
telnet both "localhost" and the direct IP address successfully. What am =
I not
seeing?
Thanks
