I am having trouble mounting Linux file system on a Solaris box.
When I mount the exported FS chloe:/u1 from linux RH 5.1 (running
Universal NFS Server 2.2beta29) to a Solaris 2.6 box, Solaris gives me the
following warning:
"Warning: No network locking on chloe:/u1:
contact admin to install server change."
Solaris has a patch to install network locking. Is this a problem
for RH Linux?
Also, once mounted on the Solaris box, I can't write to it. Is this a
part of the same problem?
