I just installed new RedHat 5.2
1. I start GUI (startx) on display 0
2. I hit CTRL-ALT-F2 - logon screen appears
3. I hit CTRL-ALT-F1 - there is no more GUI on display 0. Instead there is a
lot of lines like this one: (--) SVGA: XAA: Horizontal and vertical lines
and segments
4. I hit CTRL-ALT-F2, log as root and type startx. There is an error message
saying that server is already active for display 0
Any idea what is wrong. I have an S3 Virge video card and a Compaq monitor
(not listed)
Thanks
