Sven,

Not to worry. I bought a copy of the server edition of WP/Unix and I've
been using the DOS versions since 1984. Yes, the fonts shipped with WP on
the Linux platform are Type 1. My problem is that there is one typeface in
particular -- Baker Signet -- which we use as our logotype on our business
cards, letter heads, invoices, maps and every other piece of official paper.
I have that typeface only as a TrueType file. Now, I can buy the typeface
from Adobe for $50, but I was hoping that I could use the xfstt font engine
with WP as I can with GIMP, Netscape's Navigator and Applix.

This would let me use the TT fonts I already have rather than buying at
least one new one for a rather hefty price.
