Didn't help. It's a printer issue, not a Linux one. Suffice it to say that even
if the print queue is cleared, there's still stuff in the printer buffer. I even
went as far as to see if anything was being sent to the printer on an
interrupt level - nothing.

It'll mix colors to produce black. I don't think a cartridge is empty -- I
haven't really printed a whole lot of stuff yet. I'll try and see if I can
print something with a lot of colors and see what happens.

Well, I printed a .jpg off of a roll of film I shot recently, and everything is
decidedly pink -- it's almost 'pinkscale' :) even though I printed it from
xv in full color. :(

Seems I'll have to go to Canon tech support on this one.
