Hello Everyone

I am installing redhat 5.1.I am using two Intel 10/100pro network cards. In
dmesg I can see both the cards as
"eth0 "and "eth1".I can configure "eth0" without any problem but when I
gave the following command to configure
"eth1",I got this message :

The command is:

# ifconfig eth1 207.5.58.71 netmask 255.255.255.240

I got the following message:

SIOCSIFFLAGS:Resource temporarily unavailable.

Any idea why I can't configure eth1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks......
Dale Khehra
