If I am reading this correctly whois
(http://whois.arin.net/whois/arinwhois.html) is saying the IP address
(140.158.246.1 ) is allocated to the University you work for (Netname:
LAMAR-NET, Netnumber: 140.158.0.0)  you might try the other IT departments
there.

The Coordinator as listed is:  Gail Freeman - freeman@hal.lamar.edu
You might try contacting her for information about what computer and
services are running through this IP.

I don't know much about unix, or networking for that matter, but I thought I
would try to find the machine causing your problem, unfortunately it does
not appear to have a DNS entry.
