I asked this before, but got no replies.
I recently upgraded my Intel Pentium 133 to an AMD K6-2 300, but now when I
restart the computer, linux will not boot. It just says
Loading Linux......

and stops. The next step is the decompression of the kernel. I know that the
kernel will not decompress if the processor is not the correct one. That is,
what the kernel was compiled for use on. This is affecting my original
kernel from RedHat 5.1, and the updated one. Does anybody have any ideas as
to what is causing this?
