	Speaking of mailing lists.

I want to host a couple of low volume lists on a server which uses
a dialup connection and fetchmail to retrieve the email from my ISP.

The last time I tried using Smartlist I failed rather miserably,
but that was before I spent two weeks trying to make majordomo work. While
I may have missed something, I finally decided that the problems I was
having were the result of the mail being fetched via a pop account.

Anyway, anybody know if Smartlist will work on an offline mail
server? I don't want to waste another two weeks... but I've been thinking
that those aliases that go in the /etc/aliases file might make Smartlist
work if I put them in a procmail recipe. Or perhaps someone knows of a
better way.

I'm open to suggestions. While the lists are low volume I would
like to automate their handling as much as possible without having to
re-invent the wheel.

	Thanks,

	Brent
