I don't know if an HD install is a typical way of installing Red Hat, but
it will help you probably to know that if you sit tight for a few days
CheapBytes (http://www.cheapbytes.com) ships single Red Hat CDs for like
$2. They also have a cool errata subscription ($12 for U.S. and Canadian
customers). Getting Red Hat this way doesn't do much for the company, but
it's likely you'll get all sorts of warm feelings and maybe even pay full
price some day just out of goodwill.
