Subject: Another "LI" boot problem
=20
=20
Bad news from another Linux machine having (partial) boot problems.
=20
I'm running a single hard drive, single OS RH Linux box - LILO is =
set to boot from=20
(obviously) /dev/hda. On booting from the HD, it makes it as far as =
"LI", then....nothing.
=20
On booting from floppy - everything is just fine.
=20
Here's my lilo.conf file:
=20
boot=3D/dev/hda
map=3D/boot/map
install=3D/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=3D50
image=3D/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.35-1
label=3Dlinux
root=3D/dev/hda1
read-only
=20
Any thoughts? If you need any more info about the system (I'm sure =
you'll) just holler.
