I ended up using the Rendition chipset card (Diamond Stealth II S220) with a
Windows NT machine and switched to a Diamond card with an S3 Virge chipset
for my Red Hat 5.1 Linux which WAS supported by my version of XFree86. It
installed without a glitch.
I'm not sure about using the Rendition chipset with RH 5.2. I thought I just
saw that it wasn't supported but could be wrong as I am very new to Linux
also.
I'm sure that this list can help you.
Good luck!
