Hallo,

Many of you may have seen this, or have no need
for it, but I've seen questions in the past
(on this here list)
concerning interfacing web apps with MySQL.

I've found a good online tutorial, quick and
dirty, that explains the setup process.

The author compares NT + IIS + SQLServer with
Linux + Apache + MySQL, determines that the Linux
solution is more attractive, and launches into
a five-day crash course.  Very interesting reading.
I've just set up one with IIS and Active Server Pages,
but man is it slow.  (Maybe my fault, I guess) Perhaps
the Linux solution will prove better.
