problem with gdb

When debugging,I'm getting the messages:
(gdb) s
7 if (!strcmp(foo, "foo")) printf("foo \n");
(gdb) s
strcmp (p1=0x8048334 "environ", p2=0x8048313 "strcmp")
at ../sysdeps/generic/strcmp.c:30
../sysdeps/generic/strcmp.c:30: No such file or directory.
