_One_ of its strengths. :-)

Okay... you asked for it... :-)
CDE - too restrictive, its a commercial app, yet powerful solid display
manager, I like the panel, only use it at work on various un*x boxes as
a common denominator didn't last for my home computers
FVWM95 - hate it (reminds me of a certain OS), but have used FVWM2 for a
long while, powerful in its options but both are a bit resource pigs
KDE - pretty, politically incorrect, but its just what 'Linux' needs, my
girlfriend uses its on her system but I don't care for it much.
I never used the others, but a few (I've used that) you didn't mention:
WindowMaker - snappy, slick, attractive, used this on and off
Afterstep - similiar to the above, but built upon FVWM2 and thus is also
a pig, got to admit I rather like it
Gnome (not a wm perhaps, but) - I like this project, politically
correct, built upon gtk (a bonus in my book), use this with nearly any
of the other wm's
Enlightenment - very pretty, still a 'geeks' desktop but am anxious to
see how this progresses, its getting better with each release
Hum... thats about it I think. Prob one or two others that I looked at
and never went back to. I'm also interested on views on these and
other window managers.
