Try
$ touch ~/now
$ find ~ -newer ~/now -print | xargs ls -ld
to see what you have dated in the future.
Try 'touching' them back to the present.
If you are also running
another OS, be sure both OSs store time in the hardware clock
in the same way - both store GMT, or both store Local time.
Check the rh4.2 docs to see how to specify GMT vs. Localtime.
You could also have one of your Netscape files owned by root
so Netscape can't update it, causing the message to persist.
