Afterstep background problems

When I start my xwindows (AfterStep) I get this error =
"can't open file
'/home/znc/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/0_background'"
and I dont get a background..does anyone has any suggestions or help hint=
s on
how to fix this problem?
