Either will usually work.

I had the same problem with glint after upgrade. I finally gave up on it
and got xrpm (in the contribs directory). I like it better because it
gives a list instead of breaking it all up into packages, lets you test
an install without actually doing it, can read from any directory for
new packages instead of having to reconfigure each time and more, more,
more.
