This will fix your glint, as http://www.redhat.com/errata   tells you:

# cd /usr/lib
# ln -s rpm/rpmrc   rpmrc

Please read about rpm -U:
$ man rpm

rpm -U  *.rpm
deinstals any old versions where needed and
installs the new verions.
