I have a RH 5.0 box that I've been updating with (some) 5.1 errata rpms
and now 5.2 rpms. For example, I just installed samba-1.9.18p10 that
comes with 5.2 onto my 5.0 box. But that's just one package out of
many... but no, I don't think you're missing anything.
I think the 2.2 kernel will be a major reason to upgrade (after it has
been out a few months.)
