I use Maxtor drives all the time (in all my computers), and I've never even
had a burp out of any of them....
Strange..

Hi.
Thanx to Emmanuel for the reply. Well I finally managed to get the 6.4G
Maxtor to work with 5.0 after using fdisk and ONLY 3 Linux primary
partitions and 1 swap partition. I have had NO SUCCESS at all with Disk
Druid or using extended partitions with either Disk Druid or fdisk. It's
only been working for 1 day so maybe it will self-destruct shortly. I'll
keep the list apprised.
cheers.
