The usual ver has him boring holes in the air, but in all vers the
story must be wrong: IBM never called out of the Blue but
always sent ahead lawyers, non-disclosure agreements etc.
Something went awry in negotiations, that's all. And Gary Kildall
was never the sort to waste his time correcting damfool gossip --
even when used against him by the great greedhead of Redmond.
Meanwhile, back at the Linux ranch . . .
