It's the 2.0.31 kernel and this kind of weird behavious + freezes have
shown up after having installed a FIC VA 503+ MB with 1Mb cache. Firstly I
thought I had a cache problem - when switched off the system became more
stable - then an EDO RAM problem and now you're talking about a kernel
problem. The "funny" thing is the system has run rock stable with the same
RAM but with another MB (Asus SP97). I allready got another MB from my
dealer thinking it was a board problem but I still don't have a clue
about the real problem...
