While I have no experience with this modem, their web page indicates =
that this is a "standard" modem...

Try setting the modem to COM2 and disabling any on board Com2 ports.

Use the GUI tools to set the modem link to /dev/cua1 and you should be =
all set.

    I have a NCI-USA 56kifxspA Int Modem, and was wondering if anyone =
