One other solution is to upgrade to a newer kernel. The 2.0.36
prepatches (reasonably close to final release) include better memory
detection beyond 64M. The prepatches can be found at:
ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/linux/alan/2.0.36pre/
The 2.1 kernels also have the better memory detection code. They
(and the 2.0.35 base you need under the 2.0.36 prepatches) can be found at
ftp://linux.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/
Cheers,
- Bill

Unix _is_ user friendly. It's just very selective about who its friends
are. And sometimes even best friends have fights.
