I wonder..it couldn't possibly be too difficult to hack that
particular code into glint or gtkrpm, or something of the sort.. All
you gotta do is get the hdcomp file and parse through it...

Maybe, where did you get your CD? Purchased or burned by a friend?
If it were an ISO filesystem, with no extensions, you'd have some
trouble I suppose.
