What kind of stuff are you storing there?

What makes the most sense to me is to store stuff you install yourself
in /usr/local/src

If I were to start over, I would have three partitions:

1. /usr/local and /home (since these are the files I've installed and
created and thus, need to back up)

2. / for everything else

3. swap

The reason for putting files you install yourself in /usr/local is
that "upgrading" RHL from one version to the next should not overwrite
/usr/local

These are just my suggestions as partitioning is somewhat of a
religious war.
