Actually there is no conflict per-se...

You don't really have an MPU401, so you should NOT be loading that module.

As revealed by /dev/sndstat the soundcard driver itself cs4232 is installing
itself at the MPU401's address space because it is the driver for the card's
midi device...

Remove the driver for the MPU401. It looks like, otherwise you have your
card properly set up...
